  La Morenita in Turlock is special. The food is authentic and homemade tortillas are wonderful. This place treats you like family. Don't let the location or building keep you from treating yourself.

  This place was promising. The only major downfall is that while there is plenty of seating, its in a rather small restaurant... which made things very loud. Obviously the loudness came from people and groups talking loudly to hear over each other. Additionally, when the place is full and busy, there is nearly no space between tables or groups. The place was fairly busy and I'm sure that impacted food quality. The food wasnt bad, but it wasnt great either. Between 4 people, we had a child's taco meal, two adult two taco meals (one soft taco and one crispy taco) and one burrito meal. Nothing horrible to report regarding food, but also nothing memorable either. Seating was slow, but the staff was friendly and fairly attentive despite it being busy.
